Why: To select an outdoor specialization skill and learn the basic components of the skill; to learn to plan and carry out an extended camping trip. 

Aligned Activities: Prerequisites are Fire Tender, High Adventure, Trail Maker, and Explorer; complete all seven steps outlined in World of Discovery or The Outdoor Book.

Who: Recommended for 6th grade; may be achieved by older members.
